Providing Safe Refuge and Support
Our centres offer shelter and care to teenage mothers and vulnerable girls, helping them heal, grow, and pursue their dreams in a safe environment.
Daughters of Africares Kenya (DOA) is a non-profit charity organization founded in 2020 by Sister Fenny Fain Abrams to support teenage mothers in Kenya’s informal settlements. Today, DOA has grown to serve widows, orphans, and vulnerable children through education, psychosocial care, skills training, and community development. Rooted in compassion, empowerment, and hope, we work to restore dignity and transform lives—one community at a time.

We work to spread life-saving information about early cancer screening and prevention, reaching communities that need it most. Through awareness campaigns and outreach, we support families affected by cancer with practical care and resources, bringing hope where it’s needed most.
Our goal is to ensure that no one faces the fear of cancer alone. By partnering with local health providers and community leaders, we aim to break the stigma, encourage regular check-ups, and give families the knowledge and confidence to take early action that saves lives.
We stand for the rights and dignity of vulnerable children, women, and marginalized groups. By raising awareness and partnering with like-minded organizations, we help communities stand up for fairness, equality, and lasting change. Together, we create safer spaces where every voice can be heard.
We believe that true empowerment starts with awareness and action. Through training, advocacy, and grassroots engagement, we equip communities to defend their rights, challenge injustice, and build a culture where every person’s worth is recognized and protected.
We reach out with health education, practical support, and life-changing resources that tackle preventable diseases in our communities. By supporting clean water, good nutrition, and basic healthcare, we build healthier, stronger communities ready for a brighter future.
Our programs focus on empowering families with knowledge and tools to prevent illness before it starts. Working together with local partners, we help create environments where children can grow up healthy, families can thrive, and entire communities can look forward to a healthier tomorrow.
Every gathering is a chance to share God’s love, inspire hope, and build stronger communities. Through charity drives, health camps, awareness days, and outreach programs, we bring people together to support, learn, and grow. Each event is a step forward — touching lives, spreading faith, and opening doors for a brighter tomorrow.
